Meet Joe

Joe Fadness is the Founder of Franklin Strategy.

As a dynamic business professional, Joe excels in strategy, message management, and advocacy. He collaborates with a range of small- to mid-sized businesses, non-profits, and professional associations – statewide and across industries.

Joe’s decade of experience in the political arena uniquely prepares him for the day-to-day challenges facing clients. As a longtime aide to Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, he formed key relationships with opinion leaders, statewide and national media, and grassroots activists. In the process, Joe oversaw significant fundraising efforts and helped develop the strategic plans that resulted in major wins across several election cycles.

Joe proudly served as a member of the White House Advance Team during President George W. Bush’s second term, preparing visits for the President, Vice President, and Mrs. Bush on six continents and across the United States.

Joe is a proud graduate of Marquette University and currently lives in Madison where he is active in Big Brothers Big Sisters and service projects.

Meet Rita

Rita Fadness is an Associate at Franklin Strategy.

She has over five years of hands-on experience guiding marketing, development, and major event planning for local and global professional associations.

In her non-profit work, Rita has witnessed the power of investing in social media, people, and in the community. She’s well-versed in fundraising efforts and the grant management process from start to finish.

Rita has a passion for event planning. From virtual events for 6,000+ attendees to in-person gatherings for 250 business leaders, she’s ready to plan your next event. She would love to help with your graphic design needs, too!

Rita is a proud graduate of Alverno College and currently lives in Greendale. She is active in church and community activities.
